Short bio
Dave Menzo is a multi-instrumentalist and producer who builds psychedelic pop in real time — drum patterns, analog synthesizers, strings and vocals stacked live on a looping rig he calls a one man band on steroids. He has opened for SHAED, GRiZ, Kishi Bashi, Papadosio, Tauk and Turkuaz, and made Shhh… entirely on instruments checked out from the Ann Arbor District Library, a project the New York Times wrote up in a feature on libraries as creative hubs. His new album, Vision Quest, debuts on the Vision Quest Tour of Japan — nine shows across six cities, 23 September to 5 October 2026 — before its worldwide release. Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
